Feast Source is an innovative B2C food packaging company that stands out with its warm and vibrant brand persona, designed to resonate with customers. In an industry dominated by B2B players, Feast Source brings a refreshing approach to the market! My role was to capture and convey this uniqueness through a repertoire of skills in both design and marketing.

My role & process

As the exclusive multidisciplinary designer, I collaborated closely with the marketing and sales teams to determine the most effective research and design strategies for representing the Feast Source brand across various digital platforms, including the website, email, and SMS channels. Leveraging a combination of web, brand, logo, and graphic design expertise, I also actively engaged in learning and implementing digital marketing tactics as well!

Brand Design

I partnered with the marketing team to gather insights from different B2B and B2C food packaging company websites. This competitor analysis research provided me with a broad perspective, guiding our decisions on what elements to incorporate into the company's brand and website!

I then designed the company's brand logo, creating primary, secondary, and alternate versions, along with defining the brand colors and personality.

UX Research & Web Design

With the digital assets and brand identity elements in place as well as keeping the competitor analysis in mind, I proceeded to research the best website template options available on Shopify to create our website.

I created a comparison table evaluating the features of various themes, allowing our team to select the theme that perfectly aligns with Feast Source's needs! There was much customization to be made for the website to truly become Feast Source so I created all necessary pages, wrote copy, and coded accordingly.

Digital Marketing

Prior to this role, I didn't have much experience in digital marketing, but I quickly picked it up on the job! Managing tasks like Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics became second nature, allowing me to closely monitor various marketing metrics. This hands-on experience significantly contributed to improving our marketing ROI!

Graphic & Email Design

I was in charge of creating and managing email and graphic designs, additionally having the opportunity to try my hand at calendar and business card print designs!
